Recognised with thanks by medals from the USSR to Merchant and other seamen which for years the British government refused them to accept, one of my relatives served on the Murmansk run and was always treated royally by the Russians, finally getting his awards from Russia in the 1990's. As an OSCE member i can tell you Russian Humanitarian assistance and supplied were in high action from 2014 to date FOR Ukrainian civilians in the eastern regions being butchered by the western backed nzi loving Ukraine government under Poroshenko and later Z nut. Proven humanitarian aid which also rescued wounded Ukrainian soldiers and treated them in Russian medical facilities and later rescued children from war zones. The wars created by the west have not been so humanitarian have they, or the words of western politicians, i recall US politician Albright who stated whn asked about Iraqi children starving, if the death of 500,000 was alright she said "it is a price worth paying".
