Israel Hands Native Americans are NOT red, the term redskins came from the war paint on certain tribes faces, being red, or from the sticks they carried to show war, namely "redsticks" c 1750's , in the early colonial days and into the early 1800's. I am well aware that the first nations peoples are not Indians too. My cousin, English woman, married a Cherokee, a Tech Sgt in the USAF, I know their family very well, having been to USA and Canada. I have worked with USA and Canadian first nation people too both military and service, and they have skin in all shades including very light, no different to my own light tanned from outdoor exposure living. The Caribbean natives were shades of brown according to people in Florida I talked with. I also have some native ancestry in the UK via first nation Canadian marriage into my family tree Happy New Year to all
