@Pwecko People definitely need more D3, especially with the even weaker sun during the winter, and the reduction in being able to go outside, especially elderly folk. It also begs the question that "if dark skinned people are unsuited physiologically and suffer psychologically and psychiatrically by being in these northern regions, which we Europeans are the product of and adapted for environmentally, are they not better off in an environment that actually caters for their differences?" How many health problems and psychiatric problems could be avoided? There is much medical and psychiatric research covering this, I am sure Javid could learn some truths from it.

One of the reasons why soldiers/marines on arctic warfare training had to be more wary of frostbite because it was harder to detect in dark skins than light, plus the higher likelihood that a dark skinned person tended to be affected by the cold and lower sunlight levels than European troops. There are actually many differences. Treatment given follows protocols and policies within healthcare settings and is generally racially neutral, but healthcare providers do cater for the differences every day.
