You are paying for your own security at a distance away from mainland USA so we get stonked first, UK for instance was the unsinkable aircraft carrier for USAF forward aircraft support and back up. In the UK we paid for our own security. We also only end up in stupid wars because the USA stirs them up to crisis point just like Biden/Obama/Nudelman/Kagan started the Ukraine war in 2014, like Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Jugoslavia and now Trump jumping on the same old rotten wagon I served RAF and Army, currently OSCE since 2013 too, so i am no novice at defence, i read between the lines and deal with reality.
