Actually i think the teacher had a point, the US flag is red white and blue, and i think he was saying it should reflect the USA and the Thin Blue Line on the Red white and blue, not a black and white version. I wear a Union flag (UK) in full colour with Tri service red blue and green thin lines for fire police and ambulance. I can see his point but also that of the child etc
