The fact that so-called "green energy" systems are not totally green and cannot operate in freezing wet weather conditions should tell the USA to learn the lessons from recent months where energy was seriously and tragically affected, people died, in the USA and in Germany the solar systems failed. Anyone who relies on a totally green system is risking their own survival, every system needs backup. In the UK they are pushing the electric car concept, except what happens when you run out of electrical power in a blizzard or serious low temperature conditions.....you die, because you have no petrol or diesel to be used to keep you warm either by running the engine, getting out into shelter and using it as fuel for a fire (heat or signal for rescue) basic simple survival practices. Going 100% green with the type of weather conditions possible in much of the northern hemisphere is an impossibility, and will likely never be a solution. Time to face reality
