  2.  @7_years_and_  The Gurkhas fought against the British not surrendered, they then made peace as both respected the courage of the others. Since then they have served honourably as Regular Regiments in the British Indian Army and the British Army. They are uniformed, Regimented, Regular soldiers NOT mercenaries and we respect them fully for the great people that they are.
