Pensioners still pay taxes when they spend, travel etc so they gain from pensioners too. His comment is so short sighted, crass and insensitive, typical of a politician

@memyself1566 Absolutely agree, we need new, who stand for UK and our people above all else, no party politics, just duty towards the nation, everyone working together towards re-building from the mess that has been created by the old parties. Anyone that does not work or is illegal removed and the drain of lifeblood to non-contributors cut off. Make sure our infirm, elderly, disabled and homeless are cared for and no person without food, animals included, and our lovely green and ancient spaces protected just for a start.......

Bullingdon club....makes me think he also did what Cameron did with a pig's head......both of which is as sick as hell. Right Honourable is definitely something the do not deserve to be called.

@memyself1566 Owning property for older people does not have to end up that way, it can be passed on to relatives and benefit the family. Not every older person ends up in the care system. If we did not waste so much money on illegals and immigrants who never pay into the system, we do not need, there would be enough to properly care for those who do, and our homeless and mentally ill. I worked NHS and Care sectors until I resigned recently in disgust at the way our health system is abused by outsiders who never paid 1p into the finances.
