As an added thought are they going to use this tech at large gatherings of ethnic minorities or just white British festivals?

@todorkolev7565 depends what they do with the photos, i do not believe for one minute that they delete the pics or that they delete fingerprints. The cost of the equipment used is very high they do not pay that kind of money out so they can then delete all the data. This seems more like an intelligence trawl to build up databases which can be linked into other sources of information, as in driving licences or passports. Why are they not using similar tech to document all the illegals even the ones they do not catch coming ashore are usually on film as they come ashore and run away. People all over the country have filmed these illegals escaping why are the Police not collecting that data too No disrespect to the Inspector but i personally do not trust anyone with a foreign name telling me there it is for innocent reasons and to protect people, when a large number of foreign named Police and officials have been caught doing illegal things and i know for a fact electoral rolls and telephone numbers are collected and sold on. My own number is ex directory yet i still got badgered with unwanted calls. Better to be suspicious of anything and trust nobody especially anything connected to government or local government. I have always thought we needed a proper ID card system in the nation for many reasons which may seem at odds with what i have said above.

I second that, if on the borders, why are they not using this tech to film the illegals and document them and checking with international Police agencies for criminals, as so many seem to come here and get away with it for a long time.
