I wonder why they include the Texas panhandle in this when they could include more of eastern New Mexico and less of the more populated Texas cities. I grew up in Eastern New Mexico, it is very similar to the small towns in the Texas panhandle, it’s very secluded, quiet, low traffic, no interstate access for over an hour away, full of farm land and prairies, the kind of places that no one ever goes to unless they have a reason. There is minimal chain restaurants, not as many as more populated rural states back east.
