@filippocorti6760 the scenery got old after awhile, brown and rock yards, brown mountain, brown dusty sky, brown houses, the culture of punks and lowlifes, the good ol boy system, the bully cops, the isolation, far from other cities and day trips, rising cost of living, kinda boring for younger people, I did like some things though

@Gail1Marie I don’t know how the Nob Hill area is now, it’s been 12 years since I last lived there. Nob hill does have some of the more charming neighborhoods, its a cute area. But one of my favorite NM cities is Ruidoso but they just had a major wildfire there about two weeks ago. Las Cruces would be my 2nd choice, it’s a nice size, pretty desert scenery, safer than Albuquerque, college town, close to El Paso and Mexico border, nice weather, 3rd would be Alamogordo, it’s like a smaller Las Cruces. Most people wouldn’t agree with this but I’d chose Portales, Clovis, Silver City, Carlsbad, and Santa Teresa over Albuquerque. I’m not into living in a city anymore. I probably can’t pick 10 NM cities because not a lot of cities in New Mexico to chose from and also not a lot that are better than Albuquerque.
