@A38 : In Australia, just as the US, certain interests promote the Left-Right paradigm to divide and conquer. While these rubes fight amongst themselves, it creates a distraction for those in power to carry out their atrocities unhindered. And the rubes have a short attention span; by the time the next election rolls around, they will have forgotten everything that happened. The rubes still haven't worked out that politics no longer runs on policy, but on personal attack as a further distraction. Many of these rubes can appear to suffer from personality disorders, but they can also be bots paid to muddy the waters. What the rubes never tend to contemplate is why are there pictures of the Clintons socializing with the Trumps? It's all a Hollywood stage act folks.

In a country controlled by foreign interests, the quislings the empire selects to run that vassal are usually compromised in integrity and/or courage. So don't be surprised when a power vacuum is created within that vassal, and this vacuum is usually filled with those who live by the law of the jungle.
