  1. Jimmy, you need a different model of politics to get a better understanding of what is going on. Consider the reality there is only one real party; let’s call them the Republicrats. The Republicrats are owned and run by the oligarchs and one of their jobs is to create the illusion of electoral choice; hence the Democratic and Republican parties. Remember, even though he now denies the fact, Charles Koch recommended that people vote for Hillary in 2016. Yes, at the time Trump was an accidental unknown and we all know how Wall Street feels about uncertainty; hence the immense effort to discredit Trump. But, as expected, Trump could be bought and he rapidly changed his tune from the pre-election deceptions to pro Wall Street. Remember the 22nd amendment was introduced to give certainty; the Oligarchs didn’t want another Roosevelt type in power for an unlimited period again. So think of the system as one machine that creates and enforces the deception of electoral choice. This is the only way “too big to fail” or a single foreign imperial policy can be explained. Use this model in attempting to understand any outcome in US politics and the World will make a lot more sense.
