Thanks again Jimmy for your interview with Greenwald; he explained so well why the “Liberal” Russia-gate scam by the corrupt politicians and media were so effective on the majority. With 70% of US citizens who say religion is “Important” from the Baltimore Sun in 2009, because the “U.S. is most religious in industrialized world”, the oligarchs have certainly improved on Bernays’, “Propaganda” as mindless religion combined with the fear that comes from dysfunctional politics gives the oligarchs at least one more lever to pull to control the population. Greenwald’s explanation described the strategy perfectly. The oligarchs don’t want intelligent people as their serfs; they are too difficult to control. They want ignorant fools that live in fear and the best way to corrupt a nation’s people is to create an environment where hypocritical Christianity is dominant. Hypocritical Christianity worked in the days of Manifest Destiny when the Native Americans were slaughtered to give room to build slave plantations and it works just as well today. Except today, most of the slaves exist outside the borders of the US. A nation of ignorant fools, fearfully grabbing onto something that may explain circumstances they don’t understand are the perfect puppets for the Oligarchs’ “Useful Idiots of Empire”. Totalitarians hate the intellectual class; remember, Pol Pot started off his atrocities by first annihilating the academics and professionals; today’s oligarchs may be moving more tentatively but their goals are identical. So the transference from fear of the universal unknown to the political (Trump) unknown as stated by Greenwald, is an excellent explanation how the oligarchs managed to manipulate so many ignorant fools into believing the Trump/Russia-gate scam just to further their goals of foreign imperial aggression.
