The Democrats have always worked in conjunction with the Republicans for the interests of the plutocrats while creating the illusion of working for the people. It's only now that the Democrats are so compromised that this illusion is rapidly dissipating. If you believe the Democrats had never "lost their way", you are living in what like to call Obama's Hope Delusion.
