Paul, like most Libertarians in the upper echelons of the Libertarian cult, actually supports the imperial state and is only making this statement as a tactic to recruit more well-meaning rubes and lock them into the Libertarian "free-market" cause. Do you remember when Paul pretended he overtly detested the war criminal and ex-CIA director Pompeo in every forum he could find prior to the start of the Trump administration? And when Pompeo's confirmation vote fell short and the risk of Pompeo not taking the role of Secretary of State became real; when the Pompeo confirmation vote became critical on just a couple of votes, Rand Paul had to expose the ever-popular Libertarian "Freedom, Liberty, and Prosperity" lie and expose his treachery for all to see. Yes, after all the rhetoric to the contrary, Rand Paul openly voted to confirm Pompeo as Secretary of State. Jimmy, can you see how dangerous open voting can be to a treacherous politician? Always remember, treachery against the people is everywhere and political actions always speak volumes over cheap words.
