  1. Jimmy, you need to understand the majority of voters are ignorant morons with an attention span less than that of a goldfish. Years of consumerism has trained them to expect instantaneous gratification while comfort eating their way to obesity. They run on these transient emotions generated by Facebook likes, pig fat in Burgers, high-fructose corn syrup, and shopping at the Mall. When they see the flag, these mindless fools rally without ever considering or even being aware of the atrocities for which that flag stands. Jimmy, you have correctly recognized Trump is the effect and not the cause; just as Cuomo and Booker are just symptoms and not the disease. All societies produce sleaze, it is part of the diversity of humanity; it’s how humanity recognizes and manages that sleaze that molds a nation’s character and creates its destiny. You should also recognize this system was designed and pushed by the oligarchs to dominate the people, and the people allowed it to happen with glee. Sure it was a trap, but you can do very little to help such cretins in a corrupt system with a fake democracy that gives the illusion of understanding and control. Politics is simple; it’s just sleaze manipulating morons. The more morons that vote; the more control is given to the sleaze, and the minority who don’t have a foot in either camp usually have to go along for the ride. Jimmy, if you are hoping to see some change in human nature, I see some very frustrating times ahead for you. Just remember what the late, great George Carlin said about the origins of politicians and the pathetic short term and selfish expectations of those who vote. These fools will be continually be played by the oligarchs like a musical instrument until feudalism once again raises its head. Looking at the current income and wealth inequality, I can see the land of Lords and Serfs on the horizon as we speak.

  2. Much of the oligarchs' strategy you will find in Edward Bernay's book, "Propaganda" or even Chomsky's "Manufacturing Consent", but I have to question the real intent of the "Founding Fathers". Have you ever considered the Founding Fathers may have been a prelude to the Democratic Party; where they say and write one thing and enact the opposite. Where Jefferson's intent on paper appears to be vastly different to the life he lead. Remember, Jefferson had children to one of his teenage slaves (Mary Hemings) and then subjected his own children to slavery. Wherever you look you see Hollywood at work; even state textbooks emulate this required narrative instead of the truth. At least in those early days they were honest about limited democracy where only property holders could vote. These days they have given everyone the potential of voting but this has been offset with a vast array of barriers. The final barrier being the Republicrats where both allowed parties are owned by the oligarchs. If you look at the origins of the first two colonies on the East Coast, they too were as a result of British oligarchs investing in a new land through the London Company. So, in a way, the origins of the US like any colonial settler nation, were based on theft and slaughter. Why is it so many have trouble accepting the deception of man; why is it so many accept everything the state teaches without question; why is it so many accept what their favorite actor tell them on television or has trouble differentiating between Hollywood's history and fact? Even if you leave CNN playing in the background, most people will begin to accept the propaganda if the media keeps repeating the same lies again and again. If you really want to understand the origins of the current wave of deception, might I suggest you read Princeton history professor Kevin Kruse's book, "One Nation Under God; How Corporate America Invented Christian America". If you don't wish to read, there are a few YouTube videos of Professor Kruse discussing the content of his book. At the end of the day, there has been a considerable effort by the oligarchs to create a nation of selfish, ignorant, greedy, lazy, apathetic cowards. And much of the Western World is very similar to the US.
