  1. The "Land for NATO" sounds like the IMF's "Land for Debt" scam; where IMF agents convince corrupted leaders of vulnerable countries to go into debt for projects engineered by US companies. As you would expect, the projects benefit only an elite few within that country and surprisingly the project never succeeds in paying back the debt. After exhausting the resources of that country the debt remains on the books, and the country is then told to sacrifice "Land for Debt".
