Have you ever considered the US might be more "complicit" than "arrogant"? You have exposed innumerable lies by the US administration over the years, so why wouldn't they also be lying about their role in the expanding war in the Middle East. They are supplying the dollars; they are supplying the weapons; why wouldn't they be pulling the levers and just using Netanyahu like they are using Zelenskyy as an actor to redirect the public perception of their intent? After all, the real game is plausible deniability to hide the intent of the empire.
