  1. In this context, the word "SADLY" can be taken a couple of ways. One interpretation could be Gates is sad about the lost investment opportunity, or he could expect you to believe he is sad about the West's response to the virus. I believe the inferred ambiguity could be intentional. But what I would like to know is why Gates now appears to speak for the people on matters of health? It's as if governments have abandoned their duty and are attempting to privatize their responsibility on matters of health. Did anyone vote for Gates to be their health representative? I can understand why Gates is so interested in the investment potential of farmland, but why is Gates so interested in global health? Why did Gates lobby Oxford not to donate the intellectual property of their vaccine to needy nations? Isn't it dangerous to have an Austrian-Libertarian investor who believes that the treatment of symptoms is more financially beneficial than finding a cure; be so involved with Fauci and the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and also fund 10% of the budget of the WHO?
