Yes, the plutocrats are running out of useful minions to inject into whichever administration is currently in the White House. Condasleeza Rice showed her mettle in the illegal Iraq invasion pushing the multiple propaganda narratives to convince the gullible (e.g. "We don't want the smoking gun to be a mushroom cloud"). So I would expect she would be at the top of the list fort a return given the low caliber of psychopath that currently frequents either administration.
