  1. I understand the charges against Rick Snyder, but what about Barack Obama? After all, he was a big part of this scam and was recruited to sell it to the rubes, "Can I have some water?" This was the usual confidence game with all the usual players - "mark (rubes)" "grifter" "roper" "the Inside man" "The Outside Man" "fixer" "the face" to name but a few. And Obama played many roles (roper, face). But Obama underestimated the rubes and underestimation of a mark in a con is fatal. When Obama repeated the identical phrase "Can I have some water?" on television, the con was dead and many more woke to the scam. It's doubtful whether you will ever see Obama is Flint again as a roper will never return to the mark after the con. Compare this to the more effective long con of Reagan, "The government is the problem" with supply-side economics & trickle-down economics and the ever famous "Laffer Curve". Or the long con of the Clintons, “I believe that NAFTA will create a million jobs in the first five years of its impact.” On comparing Obama to Reagan & Clinton; surely Obama is a novice when it comes to the con; but that shouldn't exclude him from prosecution. However this isn't the end of the con. You can expect to see "The Outside Man" being recruited to protect the confidence players anytime soon. The "The Outside Man" will be some official; possibly some part of the prosecution that allows these confidence tricksters to go unprosecuted.
