  1. Almost Exactly; I almost fully agree with you. Apart from the statement, “Why America thinks they will be able to influence these rebels to accept democracy and peace is beyond me.” This may just be a case of mistaken sarcasm as the only way the US brings peace and democracy is through the bomb doors of a plane, a missile, or arming and training mercenaries. If there is no money to be made, the states nominated in Wesley Clark’s 7 countries in 5 years memo would have not seen any aggression from the West. The Anglo-American Empire is using the same tactics that Britain used when it was an empire; create a system of chaos and then control the chaos. Research how Britain used the Muslim Brotherhood in Suez. One should realize such words as peace, democracy, human rights, and especially the UN doctrine of “Responsibility to Protect”, are just tools to manipulate the “Useful Idiots of Empire” and gain democratic acceptance for the Oligarchs’ imperial aggression and exploitation of foreign nations. One should carefully consider the evolution of adjectives describing ISIS. The BBC, “Abu Sakkar, Syria's 'heart-eating cannibal”. Mirror, "ISIS gunmen used knives to torture their mortally wounded victims by slitting their stomachs as they lay on the floor". IBT, "Syria ISIS Update - Mass Grave Found In Palmyra - Victims Tortured, Beheaded. Aljazeera, "The mutilation and death in custody of a 13-year-old child has sparked further furious protests in Syrian city of Daraa". And the list goes on, but once the West has a reason to promote ISIS, they appear to be rational human beings – even family men. Western media has wasted so much effort demonizing ISIS by emphasizing their inhumanity and no they need to reverse that perception. The media has made a career of showing US ISIS mercenaries eating live hearts, killing children, decapitating and torturing their victims just to terrorize the West. All this was earlier used to legitimize the “War on Terror” and falsely justify increased surveillance and removal of constitutional privileges. Now that most are aware of the US-Saudi-Qatar alliance in supporting ISIS to create a Syrian failed state, this idiot Guru-Murthy is attempting to humanize them in the eyes of the West. He and Channel 4 must believe the West is full of fools; maybe he is right! If ISIS (or whatever you call the West’s mercenaries this week) is so benign, why don’t we see this hypocrite for the state interviewing ISIS fighters? I am sure that he is well aware one slip of the lip and he is dog food.
