00:01 “How have the Republicans for the last forty years gotten working class to vote against their economic self interests?”
You expect those who have experienced Bill’s NAFTA, Bill’s destruction of Social Security, Bill’s deregulation of Wall Street and Hillary’s Wall Street double speak to accept this fraudulent question without challenge. It wasn’t the Republicans who were effective at getting some in the voting public to vote for the GOP; it was the treachery of the Democratic Establishment. And even a paid Wall Street shill like youself must admit Obama’s “Hope and Change” followed by a term of complete inaction with a final “Look forward, don’t look back” and “We tortured some folks”, must have been the last straw for many. But Biden won’t have to worry about being exposed as a fraud like Obama, as it looks like the Democrats have lost the Senate. Isn’t that convenient for Biden, as unlike Obama in his first term, Biden can hide now his treachery behind a reasonable and deceptive “It was the Republicans” argument for inaction?
If your viewers are really asking this insipid question that exposes their own political ignorance, all I can say is the given the corruption of the Democratic elite and their forty year oppression of the working class; given that Trump promised “Drain the Swamp”, “No more Wars”, “Bring the Troops Home”, and Bring the Jobs Home” just after Hillary and Obama had made a failed state of Libya with open slave markets; given that the Democratic Establishment has rejected the interests of the people (e.g. Medicare for All) since the Koch funded Clinton-Gore Democratic Leadership council, I can understand why some voters would have selected Trump just on speculation and the off-chance he may have been genuine. People voted for Trump because their options were extremely limited and they took a chance.
