  1. Thomas, it is interesting to listen to Obama discussing the encroachment of fascism when it has been part of the American political process for centuries. Thomas, remember when you had truth-tellers like Chris Hedges; remember when Chris defined fascism as the mergence of corporation and state. Sadly, the days of Hedges’ truth on any Hartmann program are long gone as much of the Hedges’ truth no longer fits the current narrative. Consider the fact the Obama administration was selected by Citi Group executives; consider the speech of “only looking forward” in his refusal to investigate Bush-Cheney-Rumsfeld war crimes. There is much you can consider but one thing is fact; Obama was well aware of US Imperial Fascism long before he took office. So what is Obama doing warning of the encroachment of something that already resides within the US political system? Obama might be an accomplice to the crimes of oligarchy and empire but he is no fool; why is he giving this speech? Is it because fascism is now so obvious even to the lesser fool?
