It was Obama and his “Clinton” Secretary of State that destroyed Libya and turned it into an “Open Air Slave Auction”; it was Obama that asked the people of Flint, Michigan for a “Glass of Water”; it was Obama that started seven wars and dropped more bombs than George Bush; it was Obama that oversaw the CIA Operation “Timber Sycamore” that killed 600,000 Syrians and caused millions to flee; it was Obama that applied sanctions on Venezuela that killed 100,000 people and caused many more to flee; and it was Obama that said about prosecuting the Bush war criminals (Bush & Cheney), “Look forward, not back”. And now Hartmann is attempting to sell you on the lying imbecile Biden as the new hope. Hartmann is just setting the stage for a return to the status quo. When are people going to learn that politics in the US is two parties owned by the same plutocrats covertly working together to screw the Working Class majority?

It was also interesting to hear Hartmann conflate the “Access” to Health Care with the “Right” to Health Care, as if they were the same thing. But you should understand that having “Access” to Health Care is not giving one the “Right” to Healthcare. You can be given access to Health Care but if you can’t afford to pay for the Health Care offered, then you have no “Right” to that Health Care. If you have the “Right” to something, it is free; do you have to pay to implement your one of your 5 rights in the first amendment? Hartmann hopes you are too stupid to understand and conveniently forgets to explain the difference between “Access” and “Right”.

@SocratesOnline : It's corporate Hartmann's job and the job of the mainstream media to continue the status quo; Hartmann's job is to ensure the rubes continue to vote Democrat. Hartmann is only "Controlled Opposition" tasked to complain about the oppression of the working class while ensuring that same working class always votes Democrat, again the maintain the plutocrats' control. This is why it was somewhat surprising to hear Hartmann admit elements of the truth about Bill Clinton when he lied and protected Clinton's legacy in the past. But then Hartmann reverted to his old self and went on to lionize and lie about the legacy of the war criminal Obama. Understand it's Hartmann's job to protect the plutocrats and their empire; as their empire is the real reason for the oppression of so many domestically and in foreign lands. This is why you saw Hartmann push Clinton's Russiagate to cover up the content of the Podesta emails; this is why you saw Hartmann initially criticize Assange for exposing crimes of empire; this is why you saw Hartmann protect the aggression of empire in Latin America (e.g. Bolivia) and the Middle East; and this is why you no longer see real progressives like Chris Hedges on this channel.

Combine that with his statement at Flint, Michigan "Can I have some water", and it should explain so much about the lies of Hartmann and of US politics, and how the politicians are nothing more than puppets of the corporate plutocratic empire.

@SocratesOnline : And never forget it was Obama that ordered the CIA "Torture" emails destroyed to remove any possibility the Bush war criminals being prosecuted. It certainly must be a lousy time in history to be a war mongering and hypocritical Liberal; pretending to believe all that exporting "Freedom & Democracy" garbage to kill and torture those in foreign lands for profit. And Hartmann will always be there, promoting the killer empire for his plutocratic masters.
