You should have watched Hartmann interview Mark Pocan on an earlier episode as he intentionally obfuscated the reasons not to put up a vote for M4A. The plutocrats are making way too much money from a health care system twice as expensive as anywhere else on the planet and with third world results. They are not going to allow M4A to screw up their golden goose even with a falling life expectancy. And these same plutocrats understand there is a 70%+ approval for M4A in the population, so they don't want their minions (politicians) to be exposed as traitors of the people. Any open and unambiguous vote by these minions of the plutocrats for M4A is impossible in this one-party state.

The "rugged individual" was a scam introduced by the plutocrats and promoted by the tools of the plutocrats (Hollywood and the Mainstream Media) to attack society and divide-and-conquer the population. After the Communist and Socialist people's movements were so effective at forcing the Roosevelt administration to introduce the "New Deal", the plutocrats set out to turn these names into a pejorative; and thanks to the enemy they created of the Soviet Union and the ongoing McCarthy trials of the 1950's, this pejorative was extended to labor unions as well. Then it was up to the plutocrats’ minions of Reagan and Thatcher to do their bit. Reagan pushed "rugged individualism" & "Government is the problem" and Thatcher told everyone, "There is no such thing as society". Combine that with the "free-market" of the Austrian-Libertarians Friedman, Hayek, and Buchanan and the world was set on a path of deregulation, privatization, and the "trickle-down economics" inequity you see today.

Yes, but like CNN, MSNBC, TYT, and Hartmann gets paid to push the agenda of the liberal psychopaths within the Democratic Party. And while these corporate media outlets (including Hartmann) use the psychopaths within the Republican Party to keep the majority shaking in fear, most will never think to look at those identical psychopaths within the Democratic Party. It's just a case of applying the old "don't look over there; look over here!" You might say what gullible fools would fall for that childish trick, but you would be surprised how many get scammed. And the last thing the plutocrats want is for the people to figure out both the Democrats and Republicans are working together to screw them and steal what remains of the people's wealth. Understand, the Democrats and the Republicans are members of the psychopathic plutocrats' bipartisan "Big Club" and you ain't invited. And while you are doing as you're told by the minions of the psychopaths and throwing your rocks and rotten tomatoes at those bad Republicans, you will never be conscious of the fact you are nothing more than the main course for the plutocrats’ bipartisan lunch.

Psychopaths aren't hindered by ethics or emotions; they are naturals at lying and manipulating; and in the case or presidents, they have no qualms about killing for profit so the corporations that have funded them can turn a profit. For the Military Industrial and Intelligence Complex to exist and manufacture weapons to kill for profit, it needs an army of psychopaths. So for corporation executive or politician alike, the psychopath is the perfect choice in a corrupt immoral world. Obama wouldn't lose any sleep over killing a wedding party in the Middle East from a drone strike; Madeline Albright wouldn't lose any sleep when she killed half a million Iraqi children through sanctions - she even said in a 60 Minutes interview, "It was worth it". When Hillary was responsible for the bayonet enema and killing of of Gaddafi, all she could say was, "We came, we saw, he died"; now that's a real psychopath.

In his 1988 run for president, he told an audience he had attended law school at Syracuse University on a "full academic scholarship", that he had been "named the outstanding student in the political science department" as an undergraduate at the University of Delaware, and that he had graduated from Delaware with "three undergraduate degrees". When confronted with the lies, Biden later admitted that these claims were "inaccurate." Biden was exposed as a plagiarist in a school paper and again in his political career when he plagiarized John Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and even the British Neil Kinnock. So after his exposure as an inveterate liar and plagiarist caused him to drop out of the 1988 presidential run, he takes advantage of the dysfunctional memory, corrupted media, and short attention span of the people, and again runs for president. You may want to blame some of this on his oncoming dementia, but most likely he is just another psychopath running for the role of puppet president. At least when Trump lied, he actually exposed some truths. Like when he said in a CIA speech about Iraq, that the US should have taken the oil and may get a second chance. Or when he openly admitted the US was attempting to install their puppet Guiado in Venezuela because they wanted to access Venezuelan oil. Even Bolton followed by saying that he couldn't wait for US oil companies to profit from Venezuelan oil. This tells you that psychopaths make up most of the US government and one should listen carefully when a foolish psychopath begins to explain the intentions of US plutocrats and their imperial militarism to use the CIA and US military to overthrow governments and kill for profit. Even Elon Musk said about the US government & CIA on Bolivia, "We'll coup whoever we want; deal with it". Again, a perfect corporate psychopath.

Most now understand that "Liberal" means "Neoliberals" or "Corporate Democrat", but Real Progressives will have to come up with a new word to describe those fake progressives like Hartmann (and probably yourself). Many are now floating the word, "Neoprogressives" to describe those individuals that call themselves progressives but support the criminal warmongers and grifters in Washington. Just like the word "Neoconservatives" was created to describe those American Enterprise Institute warmongers that now frequent the halls of CNN and MSNBC, or the Democrat "Neoliberals" that can best be described as fascists with a leaning towards "Identity Politics" to create the illusion of separation between themselves and the Republican fascists.
