This is just a poor man’s Paul Ryan style of Christian; you know someone whose life task is to support the oligarchs and manipulate the gullible and to install oligarchical puppets into the political process. As for allowing him to take you down the left-right false dichotomy; that makes me sad. Thomas, by now I thought you would have realized puppets like the Clintons and Obama have made the term left moot. There is still a real left in the political debate but it has been sliced and diced, churned and spun to the point where those who have pretended to be on the left have been exposed for what they are – Corporate Democrats. C’mon Thomas, this fool is a modern day Reverend James W. Fifield. All he needs is the backing of the National Association of Manufacturers and we would be living in the post New Deal period denoted so well in Kevin Kruse’s book, “One Nation Under God; How Corporate America Invented Christian America”. Don’t let this scam merchant be allowed to push his style of Koch Christianity; ask him how he interprets the “Sermon on the Mount” or what is meant by the scripture, “Eye of a needle”.
