Even with Warren Buffett saying “There’s class warfare, all right, but it’s my class, the rich class, that’s making war, and we’re winning.”, most are too imbecilic, apathetic, and ignorant to understand the slow class war imposed on them over the last 40 years. A few have woken up to the reality, but then again, too few to mention. The US started as a plutocracy when capitalists fled Britain when it attempted to abolish slavery in the 1700s; Washington became the wealthiest man in America killing Native Americans and selling their land to rich plantation owners to house their new slaves from Africa, and nothing has actually changed since. Rebel, and you will either be slaughtered by the plutocrats' militarized police; and if they fail to quell the discontent, you will have to deal with the plutocrats' Military Industrial and Intelligence Complex. To put it simply; you're screwed. Remember, Obama continued the National Defense Authorization Act (Section 10.21) and removed Posse Comitatus just for this occasion. The US started a plutocracy, extracted wealth from the people to bailout the wealthy and slaughter for profit in the people's name in imperial wars; and it will end as the plutocrats abandon it like rats leaving a sinking ship as the dollar crashes and 401(k)s become worthless. At the end of the day, the plutocrats will discard the empty US husk like you would used toilet tissue.

Yotn Pez :The people tried changing the rules of the game back in the 1930s; the people's Communist Parties, Socialist Parties, and Union movements forced Roosevelt into the New Deal and since 1933, the plutocrats have been slowly and surely reversing the process. Now with “Communist” being culturally engineered a pejorative, Socialist not far behind, and Unions decimated, the plutocrats are in control and aren't going anywhere in a hurry without blood on the streets. Beware of a state "Constitutional Assembly"; the plutocrats (e.g. Koch) that control many (28@2018) definite state houses and 6@2018 undecided Republican state houses are just waiting to pounce on a state Constitutional Convention to rewrite the Constitution in their favor. Remember, they only need >2/3 to force a Convention. They want the Constitution to read like that of Pinochet's Chile authored by Milton Friedman and James Buchanan. Friedman got the Medal of "Freedom" for his efforts from George W for that betrayal of the Chilean people; ironic, isn't it?
Yes, the Democratic Party is a Trojan horse left by the plutocrats. Unlike the Republicans who are outright belligerent against the working class, the Democrats ran the scam of pretending to work for the majority. Most within the party should now be on the list to be tried, prosecuted, and if found guilty; sentenced for Treason against the American People. I doubt you would have any trouble finding executioners after that verdict.
As for a general strike; that may work, but could also be extremely dangerous. Remember how aggressive the plutocrats can be when they have no alternatives. Take a look at the Wiki page, "List of worker deaths in United States labor disputes" and you will see what I mean. I would much prefer to see a building of a people's movement; call it whatever you like, but it must be a people's movement. Then you might consider the repetition of reclaiming democracy for the people. We have been here before in 1930 and the plutocrats were forced to concede. Some didn't and there was a failed attempted coup by the plutocrats against the Roosevelt administration in 1933. But since then the plutocrats have reversed all the gains that were made and then some. Tools like McCarthyism and a gullible audience worked wonders to crush Socialist movements and Unions. The people were seduced by irrational fear and intentionally shot themselves in the foot. If you return again to Roosevelt's New Deal, what's going to stop the next progeny of plutocrats from using exactly the same strategy to again reverse the new gains made? Now who said doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is insanity by definition? The most important strategy is to ensure another reversal is impossible.

If you look at the history of the word “Liberal”, it has changed many times over the years. Today, the term Liberal is so liberal, and political groups who profess to be “Liberal” have such a broad political spectrum, the term has lost all meaning. This broad “Liberal” approach and being “be all things to all people” is usually designed to attract the populous to a set of vague doctrines. But somehow I suspect that was the intent all the time by individuals such as the minion Hartmann. You can find a definition of Liberal that describes Martin Luther King, just as you can find a definition of Liberal that describes Charles Koch. A Progressive may unwittingly believe they are a Liberal, but that only shows their ignorance of the intentional corruption of the meaning of the word. In other countries like Britain and Australia, the “Liberals” fall on the Conservative side of politics and follow doctrine very similar to that of Libertarians. You may believe you understand the meaning of Liberal, but that is a delusion in isolation; remember most on Wall Street (e.g. Lloyd Blankfein) call themselves Liberals when they would be better described Libertarians. Maybe read a little Orwell, he is excellent at exposing the insidiousness of the intentional corruption of the meaning of words.
As for Libertarians, that’s a whole different animal. There are three main types of Libertarian in this world; the wealthy Libertarian (Charles Koch) who gains advantage from Austrian economics; the Libertarian minion (Tom Woods – Mises Institute) who is recruited to promote the Austrian-Libertarian doctrine, and the army of rubes (e.g. Tea Party) that unwittingly and blindly follow the “Freedom, Liberty, Prosperity” garbage the Libertarian minions promote. Don’t just look at both David Koch and Bill Clinton both having tickets on Epstein’s Lolita Express; take a close look at the Clinton-Gore “New Way” Democratic Leadership Council funded by Charles Koch and promoted as a "Liberal" entity. Liberalism is a scam designed to be so nebulous it must create conflict between the poor rubes that latch onto and fiercely protect their own personal definitions of the word. This is why it’s so easy for “Liberals” to support US imperialism; this is why it’s easy for Madeline Albright to kill half a million Iraqi children in the late 1990s by sanctions, for which she has no remorse “It was worth it”, and still be able to promote Hillary’s 2016 campaign.
This is what happens when you base your reality on lies. The plutocrats and their Hollywood minions have been corrupting actual history for years. Forget that crap you learned in school and grab yourself a copy of Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States”. As for the founding fathers, maybe you should read Zinn's book and delve into the Federalist Papers to see what was really going on. Research actual history and you will soon realize you have been sold a scam and there is no difference between the founding fathers and contemporary plutocrats; it’s just that you have either accepted the lies taught to you in school or you like the fairytale and have intentionally blinded yourself to the truth. You appear to have no trouble accepting George Washington slaughtering Native Americans and stealing their land, but throw up your hands in disgust at the smallest personal infraction. Yes; that definitely a “Liberal”.

Bush jr. (Cheney) and Obama have set the road for the future in ways you can't even imagine. Mindless speculation, simplistic clichés, and anachronistic platitudes aren't going to prepare you for what is to come. If the people underestimate and fail to recognize their real enemies, and fail to organize, the majority is doomed. Much of the US will resemble the favelas of Brazil in 10 years. Think of this day as the slow start of a Malthusian Eugenics program using the Rahm Emanuel strategy of “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before.” Through his writings, Roosevelt certainly gave the impression he want to save the system, but remember he had had the Communist, Socialist, and Union movements to use as leverage against the plutocrats. Due to the stupidity, ignorance, engineered fear (e.g. McCarthyism, Russiagate), and apathy of the population; those very useful tools for political change no longer exist. Understand the current system floats on a sea of corruption, as that has always been the Mission Statement of the United States. According to extraordinary gentlemen like Major General Smedley Butler, the good old days were exactly like today; nothing has changed in 100 years. Unlike the erratic and directionless fools of today, Butler understood the plutocrats were psychopathic, strategic, and very intelligent; and what strategic intellect they lacked was recruited to fill the role. What has changed today is the character of the people as the "extraordinary" are very thin on the ground. Those fools of today underestimate their enemy and all that remains is a dying mafia empire, a nation of cretins, the plutocrats positioning themselves using predetermined strategies, and a road to serfdom for the majority; while a few screaming rubes on Google and Facebook who have embedded in their ignorance, only some inclination of what is to come.
