What many fail to understand is the only reason Bernie is allowed to exist within the Democratic establishment is to extend the Obama “Hope & Change“ scam. Hope is a powerful emotion and easily manipulated; and Bernie was allowed by the Democratic establishment to vote against the Defense bill to create some political capital to be used in the future. Why people tend to believe this same scam that gets played out again and again confuses me. Is it because they are just gullible fools, or are they so cowardly, they don’t want to face the reality of the one party antidemocratic state. They would rather stimulate their false hope emotions accepting scammers like Obama or Bernie, or whoever next the plutocrats allow the Democrat establishment to fill that role. Instead of these fake progressives, I wonder why Hartmann doesn’t ever get a real “Progressive” like Chris Hedges on the program who could expose this Bernie scam for what it is?

@JTuaim : How can you Fact-Check an opinion? You liberals and your persistent "Trump Derangement Syndrome" make me laugh. You must have used Politifact - LMAO. But you have it wrong - Bernie is allowed to remain because "SUCKERS" vote for him. Bernie is an interesting dichotomy in politics. Given the opportunity, he could actually work for the interests of the people; but Bernie also knows where his bread is buttered and will betray the people when asked by the establishment. This makes Bernie very useful to the corporate imperial establishment because suckers will vote for him. Notice how Bernie pushed the now defunct "Russiagate" and never speaks out against US imperial atrocities. Bernie pushed the Venezuelan sanctions that has killed a hundred thousand and caused millions to flee. I never hear Bernie speak on behalf of Julian Assange or do anything to rock the boat; he is just a very useful patsy to attract rubes like you. And because Bernie has some semblance of credibility to the rubes, that makes him more dangerous than Joe Manchin. Try to understand that for politicians like Bernie; when they promote their vote when it would not make any difference to the result, this is nothing more than virtue signalling to generate some political capital. Now if Bernie's lone vote was the reason the defense bill didn't pass, then he would have the right to promote his decision.
