  1. I like your phrase, "With great advertising". The only truth of American history is that most of it is a lie to seed nationalism and manipulate the rubes. Much of American history was fabricated by early Newspapers to expand the interests of the early plutocrats and circulation; the more contemporary examples of distortion can be found in Hollywood and some of its best examples can be found in the Disney archives. It just shows, to feed nationalism to protect their assets, all the early plutocrats needed was an emotional story and a few ignorant rubes.
