Remember, the Libertarian party arouse from the American Liberty League; many of whose founders were responsible for the 1934 (Smedley Butler foiled) coup against the Roosevelt administration. Not only should you raise the Wall Street push back against the new deal but Libertarians do not accept democracy. Their common metaphor is – Two wolves and a sheep voting on what is for lunch. It has been relenting and expensive but it appears that the Libertarian movement and Wall Street have their wish. The current democratic system is dysfunctional and democracy, as Jimmy Carter said, no longer exists. Empire might be the highest form of Capitalism but Fascism appears to be final stage of Libertarianism.
