The difference between the American people and the Truman character is that the corporation that adopted Truman did not destabilize governments, wage war and slaughter people outside the boundaries of Truman’s world for profit and power. Truman was portrayed as sincere, honest, intelligent, inquisitive, and looking for the truth. Those are not the character traits of the aggregate of the American people. Are you really surprised that a population with these character flaws only have a choice between an actor (Trump) and a criminal (Clinton). Don’t feel too dismayed, the rest of the Goldman Sachs controlled Western World isn’t that far behind you. Keep selling those lemons to the rubes.
