Thomas, did you ever think that living in a materialistic consumer society that degrades the value of life in foreign lands; that exploits subsistence labor in suicide netted buildings of exploitation does something to the moral fiber of a nation. Everyone knows what is going on with the Anglo-American Empire but no one discusses it. It is like the child molester, uncle Lew, which is a forbidden topic of discussion and remains in the closet. Everyone knows the reality and by suppressing debate it remains in the closet and festers. I don’t think that anyone that grew up with that subtext in their existence would now have the moral fiber to act. They will just sit cowering in the dark selecting the cleanest shirt in the hamper to govern them. Pathetic, isn’t it? It looks like Wall Street through Madison Avenue has subverted any remaining ethics and reasoning ability of the population so that most individuals blindly accept the status quo. To understand some of what has happened, review the works of Yuri Bezmenov. Wall Street and Special Interest groups have used a similar strategy on Main Street. An example that might be more clearly understood is where Wall Street through the National Association of Manufacturers created a direct association between consumerism, greed, and Christianity. The Book is “How Corporate America Created Christian America” by Kevin Kruse. This book gives some idea of what subversive and deceptive depths that Wall Street capitalists can reach. No, there is no real solution for this problem; the integrity of the people has been successfully subverted and divided to the point of impotency.
