Hartmann; that was a good rant and I agree with most of what you said. Where I don't agree is your inference it was all the Republicans. Remember when Sanders was up in the primaries and the liberals in Wall Street said they prefer Trump to Sanders if that's the only choices that are available. Yes, the Republicans are sleazy and promote the interests of the plutocrats, but the liberals are even sleazier as they pretend to work for the majority while they covertly screw them six ways from Sunday. And then you should look at the Vote trading between Republican and Democrat so the Republicans can keep their "bad-guy" image and the Democrats can keep their "good-guy" image and to continue the illusion the Democrats work for the interests of the majority. Maybe it's time you interviewed a real progressive like Chris Hedges and this time don't interrupt him when he tells the truth about the corrupt and manipulative liberal establishment.

@georgefurman4371 There was one time when the lying, plagiarizing puppet of the plutocrats (Biden) wasn't lying to the people. That was when he told Wall Street, "If I'm elected, nothing will fundamentally change". And you can't avoid fascism in the US; it's inherent in both parties. You can have the hard white-supremacist fascism that induces fear in the rubes and useful for Hartmann to apply his divide-and-conquer strategy, or you can have the covert treacherous fascism of the Democratic establishment that uses the boiling-frog strategy to introduce subtle changes. Personally, I like the white-supremacist fascism as this is obvious, you can see it coming, and therefore its easier to push-back against. On the other hand you have the Democratic establishment that conflates their fascism with "Identity Politics" and that is designed to confuse and frustrate any push-back. For example - If you are critical of Madeline Albright for killing half a million Iraqi children, then you must be an anti-feminist.

@georgefurman4371 : I've been observing Controlled opposition for some time and Hartmann is an interesting case. Hartmann appears to have the luxury of recruiting the real imbeciles in society to watch his show; those cretins who add 2 and 2 and wind up with a mongoose. I have observed a few of them wake to Hartmann's tactics and the strategy of his narrative; but sadly, usually too few to mention. Hartmann is a deceiver and many genuine progressives (e.g. Chris Hedges) now appear to avoid Hartmann like the plague. Even the usual progressives-lite (e.g. Thomas Frank) haven't frequented the site. His only guests are now the scam merchants (e.g. Mark Pocan) who run the gambit for the plutocrats' Democratic establishment and Imperialism. And as for workers; Hartmann understands exactly what he is doing with his divide-and-conquer strategy. The country is split and this split is intentional. It originated in sources like Maddow on MSNBC where scams such as "Russiagate" originated. And then it was picked up by the "alternative" media like Hartmann who pushed this garbage for months. Hartmann and the establishment understand if they can continue to split the nation, there can be no successful reunification of the "Left". So may I suggest to you, "Think about it more carefully." and don't explain your argument with an incomprehensible "word salad" that doesn't present a consistent and logical argument and never comes to a conclusion. Don't be one of the usual mindless imbeciles that watch this garbage and just nod your head as Hartmann sells the plutocrats' narrative.

Hartmann's job is to continue the plutocrats’ divide-and-conquer strategy as the plutocrats understand the power of the people if they join forces. You might say people are too intelligent to fall for that old scam. I would respond by saying you haven't studied Hartmann's audience. Hartmann knows if he can keep the rubes at each others' throats he will be successful, and his plutocratic masters might even give him a bonus for his effective treachery. If you actually believe most are too intelligent to fall for that old scam, maybe you should direct your attention to the comments. Yes, a quick read of the comments shows Hartmann's manipulative strategy is actually working.

Careful; Silicon Valley is the liberals' domain of the oppressive FANG (In-Q-Tel) plutocratic system. It's interesting that most of these "liberals" are proponents of the "free market and deregulation"; and many of those "liberals" in the Valley are self-professed Austrian-Libertarians who thrive on anything Neoliberal - deregulation, privatization, etc. Don't you understand, you aren't supposed to ask these awkward questions? That's like asking Hartmann to be critical of war crimes in US foreign policy - Not Going to Happen!
