  1. Hartmann, why do you continue to distort American history and tell these rubes tall tales about the founding fathers and the Constitution? Christopher Columbus and his family were slave traders. George Washington was the richest man in America; his wealth came from killing the natives and selling their land so plantation owners could profit from slave labor. One of the authors of the Declaration of Independence (Jefferson) fathered children with his teenage slave and then sold his children into slavery. Can’t you just taste the irony of Jefferson’s “freedom”? The founding fathers hated democracy, as it diluted their control of the country. The Constitution was written in a closed room by the few; intentionally to keep the majority from having any input into the document. Since then the transgenerational families of plutocrats have sold the Constitution to the people as being owned by the people when it was an ambiguous document designed to control the majority. Yes, the scam of the Democratic Republic has been used to keep the many under control. You may have noticed it's a Democratic Republic and not a Democracy; this is to ensure the plutocrats can always maintain control by controlling the judiciary. Maybe it’s time you threw away your state (Carnegie, Rockefeller) textbooks and started reading some factual history (e.g. Zinn). And now you are attempting to convince your rubes into believing the US was once a democracy. I must admit, there were times when the people's voice grew strong during the FDR administration, but that was due to the strong populist groups like the Socialist and Communist factions along with a strong union movement. Well, the plutocrats have devastated any movement that gave the people a strong voice using the Red Scare and episodes of McCarthyism that still exist today (Russiagate). The plutocrats did such a good job at creating pejoratives of these words; even today many shake in fear when they are spoken in earnest. Understand the plutocrats hate any system that limits their ability to exploit. They invaded the Soviet Union in a vain attempt to stop the Bolsheviks in 1918 and then created the FBI the same year to stop any similar thoughts in the US. Sure, the FBI does have legitimate duties to give it plausible deniability, but its prime function is to protect the interests of the plutocrats within the US (domestic capital). Yes, the plutocrats have all their bases covered and have programmed their rubes well to ensure their exploitation. They have programmed them so well, the majority still believes what the plutocrats' propaganda media tells them - the US is a democracy and they are free. So, sit back and listen to the selective engineered untruths of Hartmann, and grow a little more ignorant every day.
