The most fascinating part to all of this is the intentional polarization of the Democratic Party. When the plutocrats are creating a fake democracy to keep their rubes in line, they have to create the illusion of animosity between the only two allowed political parties of the one party state. They count on their rubes to be too ignorant and apathetic to look at the similar actions and intent of these two parties and for their rubes to only look at the conflict between the parties. Think of it as the professional wrestling of politics. In this way, the plutocrats and their minions (Hartmann) keep their rubes occupied so as to never ask questions.
