  1. It intrigues me when people self describe as “Liberal”. Which “Liberal” do they mean? Do they mean the “Classical Liberal” that is best described as “Dickensian” or contemporary Libertarianism; or do they mean “Embedded Liberalism” that appears to be the origin of Progressivism. So why do these broad political components of conflated Liberalism still exist? When Obama self describes as Liberal and then as “Moderate Republican”, is he being intentionally deceptive? Or is the broad church of contemporary Liberalism designed to encompass a majority so the plutocrats (DNC) can take control of the political narrative? Also in other countries, many use “Liberal” to mean “Libertarian” or “Free-Market” Conservative and they follow the economic principles and politics of Reagan or Thatcher. In a room of people, two individuals can self describe as “Liberal”, but each could be on opposite sides of the political spectrum. So “Liberal” appears to be as broad as “Christian”; Christianity also has a broad definition. It is so broad; many Christians can be on both sides of Imperialism. For example, Hartmann says he’s a Christian and then pushes for US (CIA) intervention and Sanctions in Venezuela that have shown to have killed 40,000 people; and pushes for the prosecution of Assange because he exposed the crimes of a butcherous thieving Empire. That doesn’t sound too “Christian” to me. But then again, priests buggering children to satisfy their urge doesn’t appear too “Christian” either. Is “Christianity” like “Liberalism”; is it so broad that it has lost all meaning? Or are they both just tools of political manipulation?
