I used to take the association between large social media monopolies (e.g. Google & Facebook) and the mouthpieces of the empire like the Atlantic Council with a grain of salt, but as I watched how Google rapidly and abruptly changed the narrative from "The US Annexation of Cuba" to "Linguistics" to avoid further exposure of US crimes of empire as Noam was comparing the US's annexation of Cuba to Russia's annexation of Crimea, I learned that my suspicion was fact. This surely was no coincidence. In that brief period of time, I was learning volumes more from Google’s actions that I had ever learned from Noam in this video. And that’s saying something! It reminded me of when Jeffery Sachs from Columbia University exposed the CIA Operation "Timber Sycamore" on CNN. Operation "Timber Sycamore" is where the CIA armed and funded the terrorists to attack Syria to overthrow Assad resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of the Syrian people. Like the Google staff with Noam, the CNN staff couldn't get Jeffrey Sachs of the air fast enough to please their masters.
