  1. Editing books post sale? Removing inconvenient books (e.g. 1984) from a catalogue? And some authors (e.g. Dr. Udo Ulfkotte) inconveniently die before their book (1944505474) even makes it to the printer. You must admit, Amazon is a little more subtle than those jackbooted Liebestraumers in Germany goose stepping over a pile of burning books in the 1930s. Interesting how history tends to repeat; isn't it? When your intent is to rewrite history, you can't have those inconvenient facts just lying around. Anybody can just pick up a piece of original text that contradicts contemporary knowledge, and then start asking awkward questions; that could be dangerous. This is enough to make Eric Blair roll over in his grave and say, "I tried to warn you, but you just didn't listen". Now if there was only some way to permanently protect the Wayback Machine?
