So here is some contradiction in the statement, 01:45 “Get rich, live the dream, everybody’s rooting for you; but don’t screw over every single person that you’ve ever met in your life, or anybody that’s ever worked for you to get rich.” It appears you forget in a capitalist system with expected ongoing exponential growth, a capitalist must continue to extract more and more from the workers to increase “productivity” either by employing smarter workers or by working his current workers harder. Remember, the prime function of a CEO and Corporate Board is profit; nothing else. If the CEO considers employee well being or unregulated externalities; they can be prosecuted under the law.
In fact, unless you haven’t noticed, capitalism works by leverage, dominance and exploitation and those who are still ignorant of this fact have been well programmed by the system. The system works by the capitalist selling the workers’ efforts at a profit which funds the operation and the surplus creates wealth for the employer. I’m not saying change from capitalism; I’m saying just accept it for what it is; mostly exploitation. Pretending this anything other than exploitative Darwinism where psychopaths and sociopaths can thrive is being totally self delusional. As for the few that may accumulate wealth without exploitation, I say good luck to you and wish you the best, but this is only a minuscule number in the sea of psychopaths that exploit and dominate for personal satisfaction and gain. Again, pretending it’s anything else is doing yourself and most workers an injustice. I know it may be difficult to see the World for what it is but try it for once; it’s far more satisfying that watching Hollywood propaganda that sugar coats reality.
All I say is if you want to keep capitalism return to the days when the Union movement and the Socialist movements pushed Roosevelt to implement his New Deal. It’s the government’s job to be accountable to the majority, not be owned by the few. Some say we have tried that before and the oligarchs spent considerable effort and fortune reversing it to the point where inequality has well surpassed the 1920s. I understand Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, but what are you going to do?

You have to understand the plutocrats use stooges like Pakman and Hartmann and many others to sell their foreign policy. If you are ever brain-dead enough to consider seriously these paid tools of controlled opposition, you will notice they emulate the Maddow-MSNBC narrative; get the suckers in with the fake and deceptive "Russiagate" & "Impeachment" that never goes anywhere while inducing fear in their audience by overselling the threat of Trump. And while these mesmerized rubes are focused on the fake narratives and immersed in the engineered political soap opera, they don't have enough time or consciousness to ask relevant questions. It's a good scam if you can find enough ignorant morons to target and support your charade.
And this doesn't only happen on the fake left; the fake right also uses the same strategy. If you have ever watched Libertarians like Ron Paul, they sell you, not on "Identity Politics" like the fake left, but on non-interventionism. They pretend they are against imperial aggression while selling their rubes on policies and strategies that benefit the plutocrats. And if you dare to look into the real motivations of people like Paul or Woods, you will find they actually do support imperial aggression when it suits their ideology. There is one absolute truth to all of this deception; support for Imperial Foreign Policy that benefits the plutocrats at the top of the pecking order is bipartisan. After all, the plutocrats own both political parties.
So Pakman is just one of many stooges of the plutocrats. No one can be that moronic, ignorant, or intentionally deceptive for their own interests; he must be getting paid for his corrupt and imperial narrative that benefits the interests of the plutocrats. I have never watched this immoral sleaze Pakman before, but I suspect he berated the "dictator" Maduro in Venezuela and never mentions the sanctions justified on a "threat" to US "National Security" by Obama that have now killed tens of thousands in Venezuela. This observation is based on the premise this immoral paid sleaze of the plutocrats now pushes the scam of there was no coup in Bolivia. So where does Packman stand on Assange exposing crimes of Empire? Maybe those who are watching this crap should redirect their attention to a more credible source of news. YouTube channels like "Moderate Rebels" and "Grayzone Project" are an excellent place to start. You may even wish to look for anything where Chris Hedges is giving his commentary on similar issues. Even Jimmy Dore has a more credible news program than this Pakman plutocratic puppet. You should understand that controlled opposition like Pakman is rife throughout YouTube and you if you are honestly searching for the facts, you should avoid puppets like Pakman.

And I almost forgot:
Consider the aspects of Austrian/Libertarian philosophy promoted by these stooges: no taxation, deregulation, privatization, etc. etc. All of which sound great on the simplistic level but these stooges aren't capable of thinking at a deeper level. Sure, these fools may like the idea of not paying taxes or not being regulated but consider it from the oligarchs point of view. The oligarchs don't want government spending so they can justify reduced taxes. With higher profits they can grow, gain power, and eventually control governments. With deregulation, they can control the democratic process (Citizens United), exploit workers, pollute, and as a monopoly, maximize profits. The most interesting Libertarian arguments are circular - let me explain. The Libertarian cult members programmed by the oligarchs are taught to hate the government. These are the same oligarchs that have subverted the government and now control all branches of that government. This oligarchical government is then used by these same oligarchs to transfer wealth to the private sector. This obvious government corruption is then used to indoctrinate their stooges in the failings of government. The result is a government with no regulatory or taxation powers but with the ability to socialize losses and privatize profits for the oligarchs. A brilliant strategy if you can get away with it, but your stooges have to be exceptionally stupid.
