The answer is simple really, tell Russia if they leave Crimea and pull their covert military out of Eastern Ukraine, then Ukraine will never join NATO, this would give Russia their request, and ending their occupation of Ukrainian land would send the message they're serious about respecting Ukrainian sovereignty.
