I'm not sure i entirely agree that most casualties are conscripts from occupied territory, Russia lost 20k in the initial first wave attacks, these included their VDV paratroopers, Tankers, Airforce, the casualties in the past month are probably a much higher percentage of people from occupied territories, but I think most are still Russian overall.

There has also been discussion that the attack was done by Special Forces/Partisans which is why Ukraine hasn't made any admission as they normally do, because personnel are still in danger within Crimea, the ideas put forward have been bombs snuck in to the airbase, and short range kamikaze drones, the later was used at a refinery north of Moscow a month or so ago. Just for the record Ukraine did test fire their indigenous missile 4 years ago, this is not something completely beyond possibility that could have been used. Hopefully more pictures will come out of the airbase and give a better Idea of what happened.

  7. Storm shadow is generally the bunker busting variant, the French version is more common in their runway denial warhead which is a multi munition warhead like several large cluster munitions to cover a larger area, so it could give extra capability not just more munitions.

At the end of ww2 as the red army moved west, they intentionally brought in Siberian soldiers of Asian ethnicity and told them to r@pe as many European women as they wanted, the Kremlin since the revolution has found it easier to rule over the Mongol hordes, they've deliberately pushed ethnic replacement of Europeans to rule over, and moved in Muscovites to areas of their empire for them to be the top tier ruling class.

  13.  @EnsignRedshirtRicky  Iraq was theoretically the better contender compared to Ukraine (not accounting for soldier enthusiasm) the Iraqis had a huge Army and serious SAM network, Iraq was probably a tougher nut to crack for the opposing airforce compared to Ukraine, then take logistics into account, imagine if Russia was fighting this war but Ukraine was located in north Africa, Russia being able to use home airbases is a ridiculous advantage the coalition in Iraq did not have. Russian Tanks were running out of fuel 50 miles from their border, how would they carry out this operation if Ukraine was in north Africa?

Those Storm Shadow missiles have a 560km range, I'm telling you Jake our government isn't competent enough to build 100 of the export version in such a short time frame, Ukraine is using them within the 250km range so the Russians don't know what their capabilities are, as soon as the counter offensive starts you're going to see targets inside Crimea get lit up.

  18. The longer range missiles the UK is likely to supply will be the Storm shadow stealth cruise missile, 560km range, 450kg (1000lb) warhead, 2900lb total weight, I can't think of any other munitions suitable that would be sent.

  20.  @erikals  That's not true, Churchill was the person who told the world an Iron Curtain had descended across Europe, he was staunchly against Soviet occupation of Europe, Churchill and American General Patton both wanted to push east as fast as possible at the end of the war to stop Soviet occupation, Churchill even wanted to use German soldiers to help defeat the Soviets, But Britain was heavily indebted to the US at this point, and America ultimately decided the fate of occupied Europe, not to push the Soviets back, American General Patton was an extremely outspoken critic of his Presidents decision, that conspiracy still exists as to his death.

Poland isn't buying 500 Himars, this is just Polish language to express their hatred of Russia, as you stated supply of munitions is far more important, the US only operates about 400 of these, Poland could not afford to supply 500 units, UK only operates around 60 GMLRS which are 12 launch tubes (2 refills) cost per missile $150k thats nearly a million dollars per launch on the 6 tube system, let's say they fire every 30 minutes, they can be reloaded in 10 minutes, that's 48 launches a day, one Himars vehicle would cost $43,200,000 a day to operate, 20 vehicles would cost $864,000,000 a day to operate, that's nearly a billion dollars a day to operate 20 vehicles, I'm fed up war Karen's shouting "give Ukraine 500 of these vehicles" while not understanding what the hell they're talking about.

It seems only when the consequences of these actions come home to Russia they feel ashamed, I'll save my pity for the families of the dead bodies of civilians piled 5 feet high in the street outside morgues in Mariupol, I'd encourage you you to find this footage, it's worse than the footage of Bergen Belson being liberated.
