I don't trust that 17k a year for Russian people, given the wealth inequality in Russia the average person has much less, the Russian state pension is '$259' a month, that's 65 US dollars a WEEK

@miriam2909 Yes, everything is relative, but on 65 usd a week the food prices are still very high, you'd probably find the cheaper aspects are rent, house prices, fuel? but everyone has to eat so they will spend most of their expendable income just eating.
