  6. As a kid we had the Imperial System then went Metric but I always go for inches and feet in preference to cm or metres.

  9. 3 X 3 X 3.and nobody knows. That's what living with calculators does to you. Now show them an analogue clock and ask what time it is. When I think as I kid we had 240 pennies to a pound, a pound known as a quid, halfpennies, sixpence, florins and also a two shilling coin, 20 shillings to a pound, three pence or thrupney bit. Could they cope with that? Then we went Metric. Easy, all tens. But I still tend to use inches and feet for measurements even though we went over to metres etc.
