@hardrock1826 Thanks for the info.
Yes, accents. For such a small island here we have a multitude of regional accents, Geordie, a Lancashire accent which is similar in some ways to Yorkshire but enough to make a difference, Cumbrian, Black Country, into Wales and I'm sure the Welsh can tell where in Wales people are from to Scotland where a Glaswegian accent is different to Aberdeen or Edinburgh. I'm in Lancashire and don't speak how my grandad did. Age 67 here. Even between towns there's a slight difference, about 3 miles away it's more a Manchester accent than here and Oldham 4 miles away the other direction is different again. Someone brought up around Manchester will say what sounds like Manchesta, I don't and live only 7 miles away. Liverpool 40 miles away different again.
We get very little snow here, I'm disappointed! I always wanted to live in Scotland for proper snow, some roads have marker poles each side of the road so the snow plough knows where to go. Still not deep snow like you get.
Computer doesn't like plough, it's puts a red line underneath so I guess it wants plow. Yes, it accepts that.
2035? Wow, that's worse than here which Prof. D. Coleman estimated as 2066 when the white British become a minority. People keep voting for political parties which all want more immigration and we're getting it! It's some 50 years since I first noticed it at school with more black kids every year. 2066? I think earlier. Our government signed the Marrakesh Agreement to allow Africans to come here. This party (BNP) wanted to stop immigration but were largely ignored by voters. We got laughed at when we said they would take over. If immigration is discussed I remind people of this party which started this.
Always sorry to hear somebody's loved one has gone. I was married but then divorced after 10 years. Single now and don't mind too much, I go out when I want and come back when I want, go to a few pubs and see people I know, shopping twice a week as I don't have a fridge after it leaked about 20 years ago. Sometimes though it would be nice on a trip to Scotland or nearer by motorbike to have someone to talk to half way.
Busy just now plastering after putting in a new bath.

@hardrock1826 Okay about living in Wales.
Good grief! Classed as mentally challenged, it sounds like they were the ones mentally challenged.
I've been told by others who are left handed they were made to write with their right hand but I never had anything like that. Perhaps they thought I was stupid and left me to it. I did have trouble with scissors though, instead of cutting paper the paper folded because the blades were opening, new ones are okay, my mum later bought left handed scissors. Even as recently as about 20 years ago my nephew had to write with his right hand, my sister said it's scribble and maybe he should have used his left hand.
There are some advantages, in engineering I saw guys struggling in a square cubicle tightening screws awkwardly with a spanner in their right hand at the right hand side, no problem for a leftie and the other side I used my right hand, no problem for me. I couldn't imagine using a left handed can opener though.
Your schools sound terrible! I don't know about here but wouldn't be surprised if it's the same. Youngsters will grow up thinking that is normal. Everything is changing and we've both seen better years.
Nice to hear you met your girl in your teens and later marred her.
I dabbled in photography in a very simple way. A box Brownie we had and 620 film, developing tank plus chemicals of course. The guy in the shop said he had just what I wanted and came back with three plastic trays, a light box, plastic tweezers and a printing frame which I still have, so black and white photo's of 3.5 x 2.5". He must have had that kit in a box for years!
Attempting to learn piano but keep getting cramp, it's not going well. I have a tiny garden and would love a large one, have a Harley Davidson Sportster and do amateur radio, love building and modifying radio stuff and making aerials, all keeping me busy.
