  2. Early this morning on Radio 5 during the talk show a taxi driver called in and the presenter made great strides to point out he was a black cab driver but not racially. Twice! Finally ended up saying he was a hackney carriage driver.

  6. I stood in our local elections in 2014 and 2016 for the one party which has always been against immigration. People had a choice but voted Labour in once again. If anybody in this Ward moans about immigration I will remind them they had a choice. They chose to not take an alternative, even as a protest vote. Non white births here in 2001 was 19.3% and 23.9 in 2011. Anybody want to guess now? Maybe 29 or 30% or more? I proudly say I came 2nd in 2014 in my first ever election.

  15. I believe the Kalergi Plan because I see what he said coming true. Immigration might be for cheap labour originally but it's a fact we are being replaced. Governments knew in the 60's our population was decreasing but instead of tax breaks or something to encourage us to have more kids they decided on immigration which has never stopped because once started they can't say they got it wrong and stop it. I think it's Hungary who are addressing the falling population of their country and not by immigration.

  32. I thought she went because of an e-mail, not immigration. Why did she not know it was not right to use her own private e-mail? We need to clear out all politicians and start again. We're run by idiots. This is supposedly the party for businessmen but if industry works like this no wonder this government don't know what they are doing. My M.P. left school with no qualifications and look where she is now so that doesn't say much to me about Labour either. Poorly educated people running the country. I feel there is no party I want to vote for, they all have wanted immigration for 50 years to single out that point. This gov't can't run this country but what alternative? Truss was going to attack pensions. Give everybody £400 then take it back off pensioners by not raising pensions. I'll be writing B_N_P on my ballot papers as I used to stand for them, coming 2nd in 2014.

  33. I do wonder if we were investigated for our views om immigration at school in the mid 1960's. We had a discussion in class whether immigration was a good thing or bad. The class was divided about about 50/50. Was this done in several schools and the results sent to a government body to see how much work (brainwashing) they had to do to get us to comply with the immigration is good view? Bill=B.N.P.

  45. Boosting up the Windrush Generation I see. A new 50p coin depicting them and on Radio 4 yesterday morning how they contributed so much to the British economy after the war. A handful of people saved Britain? How did we manage during the war, manufacturing weapons, carrying on as best we could, women's land army and working in factories.   47. I remember morning assembly. I think later on those who were not Christian could opt out and sit in a classroom. I thought morning assembly had been removed. What did Muslims eat before we had Hell al meat? One guy I worked with took his young child out of school and into another one because the first was teaching Punjabi as a language lesson. That's how we are going.

The BBC should make their own series if they want to show a modern children's story. Leave the past as it was and don't try to change it. That's the insidious part of it. Will people complain?
