@daguard411 The "that wasn't/ isn't" REAL Commipunism argument " is just a post Soviet attempt to avoid connection with Marxism and rebrand the gross ideas of various Marxist "thinkers". It is also an attempt for modern extreme Lefty types to try implement the various despucable Marxist ideologies using another old Marxist idea; the long march through institutions, a manner more subtle but ultimately more successful than the outright thuggery of Lenin, Mao, the Kims, Pol Pot, Castro, Ne Win and others.
