  1.  @jaketaz2848  These are just some points against Marxism, but here goes: 1. It requires force to implement and maintain. 2. Marxist systems are exclusionary, for all their claims of being unifying, leading back to needing force and indoctrination to implement. 3. If I choose to work harder or invent things I receive no benefit from that. It all goes to the State, benefitting the inevitable ranking Party members. 4. It is inefficient as it removes incentives to work. 5. It is highly bureaucratic, and relies on an intrusive State to control people. You will disagree, I am sure, likely with the old refrain of "but those were not REAL communism/socialism.", but Marxist philosophy is inherently flawed and cannot work.

  2. That applies to every dogmatic person, most obviously communist/left-wing leaders in recent history, living the high life as their economies stagnate and people starve, or at least are rigidly controlled as we see in China. Oh well, beer time for me!

  4. Consider that nobody's vision of utopia, certainly none of the popular ones, is palatable as they all require some sort of force to implement, are highly exclusionary if you stray from their dogma.

  5. Karl Marx was a lifelong moocher, and spent most of his life either broke or not providing for his family. It does seem that a lot of these economic philosophers (if one can call them that), were rarely successful themselves, financially at least. Rand at least was against the monstrous ideologies of Marx, Lenin and Stalin, a point in her favour.

  8. So was Marx. Neither were nice people, but Rand worked for a living whereas Marx was a lifelong slackarse. On that basis alone she was the hetter person, but dreamy morons today still idolise Marx..
