  1. Of course he avoided them... he had just trespassed on someone else's property for the 5th time. The police were already looking for him to question him. I haven't met a single criminal that was willing to stop and chat just after committing a crime. Do you???

  10.  @garyscarborough4346  the owner would know if he was a contractor or not. Was Amaury a Tradesman? Was he on the property 5 different times conducting business? If he was... I imagine a PROFESSIONAL would have the courtesy to simply explain WHY HE WAS ON THE PROPERTY??!!

  11.  @jairzinhokowsoleea9805  you don't understand what private property is, what permissions may be granted to access to the property by an owner etc. (such as responsibility of surveillance and protection, ex. Security Guards etc.) Amaury WAS trespassing.. this much is a FACT. I can't beleive so many of you don't understand a basic concept. Everything else after the Trespass was stupid on all account by ALL parties. Of course noone should have lost their life over this garbage. Sad no doubt!

They didn't know if Amaury was just trespassing or had also stolen something, hence why they were trying to detain him for questioning (a Citizens Arrest). The police were already called... the police would sort it out from there.

  20. I'll tell you why... there was a physical confrontation and Amaury was shot and killed while grabbing the barrel of a shotgun that didn't belong to him. Murder requires a much different set of circumstances.

  22.  @Areniapixie  yes... except Amaury was at the property to which he had no business on at least 5 separate occasions. So clearly... questioning was warranted by the property owner. Same as ANYONE else would have done, including you, as you alluded to.

  23.  @Areniapixie  being armed is perfectly LEGAL... Making a Citizens Arrest is LEGAL. The police were already looking for Amaury.. he was a suspect for trespassing at the same property.. If someone physically assaults you and tries to take your gun, shooting them in defense is LEGAL.

So now the real question: What was Amaury doing on that property that wasn't his on 5 separate occasions? What's YOUR best guess? 🤣

  25. Apparently CNN viewers have never heard of a Citizens Arrest. How many times have Police showed up to stop a crime? They always show up AFTER a crime has been committed.
